Publish or Perish : Winning Friends And Influencing People

Here is an example of a letter of approach I might use in order to contact someone about an interview it could be altered for any means necessary such as press credentials. This was written with ideas learned from Dale Carnegie‘s “How To Win Friends and Influence People” and Napoleon Hill‘s “Seventeen Principles of Success”. Both of which have had profound effects on me and my practice. THANK YOU BOYS HERE’S A SHOUT BACK AT YOU!!!
Dear Sir or Madame,
My name is Richard Rossetto I am a visual artist and freelance writer from Montreal. I am currently the TOP CONTRIBUTOR to Art + Culture an online site based out of New York. Art + Culture is an online information sharing site and magazine for artists as well as well as art lovers. It creates a platform for artists to show their work, market themselves, and create new networks while providing a venue to inform the public of what’s happening in the world of arts and culture globally.
I contribute current events, interviews, reviews, articles and essays about the Local and Canadian art scene. I have interviewed various Famous Canadian Artists, such as Attila Richard Lukacs and ManWoman, as well as internationally acclaimed singer, and writer Henry Rollins. I also write about the business of art and how creative souls succeeded.
I have an extreme interest in Rock ‘n’ Roll, Heavy Metal, punk, and dissent thought and believe that if Mr. or Ms. X would take the time to give me his views on art and success, our audience would find it of great interested. Art+Culture is enjoyed by a regular following as well as up to 550000 unique hits a month and my own web site has had over 20000. The interview can be conducted at Mr. X’s convenience via telephone, email, or as a sit down interview, which ever he prefers. If this interview is to be conducted by phone my home number is ********. Please forward these thoughts to Mr. X if you believe they might stimulate his interest.
Thank You,
Richard Rossetto
